Chanel Beauty Review

Here at ennvy, we love to try new beauty products plus I'm a sucker for pretty packaging and brand beauty products. Our aim for the following months is to provide you with more beauty reviews as we have a lot of products that have and haven't passed our tests! 

The Chanel boutique and its little sister, Chanel Beauty boutique opened in QueensPlaza in Brisbane earlier this year. Walking past the chic monochrome store always entices shopaholics, such as enn and myself, to wander in for a look. Our latest visit to the Chanel Beauty Boutique had us leaving with two must-have products for every beauty case. Here is what we bought: 

• Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel in 62 Terre Epice
• Essentially this product is a compact bronzer. The bronzer has a shimmer to it unlike many of its matte counterparts. The silky texture of the powder was what drew us to it in the first place. Enn has golden toned skin and finds it hard to wear very pink foundations and powders but lately she has been wanting a blush. The closest thing to a natural looking blush for golden toned skin is this bronzer. It is truly stunning on and highlights enn's pretty cheeks. The bronzer is pinker than most bronzers so on enn it looks like a blush/bronzer and is the perfect tone for her skin. She didn't break out either, so as her sensitive skin is very temperamental, we think it will be fine for most skin types (note that she does not wear it every day though, as every day wear breaks her out). Overall, this is the best bronzer we have tried so far and we definitely recommend it. 

• Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick in 33 La Distinguee 
• Enn loves lipsticks and already has one Chanel one so she was dying to try this new range. Chanel lipsticks are long-wear and their shades look beautiful on all skin types. Their classic red lipstick is a cult favourite and a must-have for all beauty boxes. Enn prefers pink tones though and is shy of a bold red lip. This colour is one of her favourites and the lipstick glides on smoothly and has a long wear time which are ticks in all of our boxes. Overall, we recommend this lipstick as well!

As you can see Enn has a major soft spot for Chanel so we recommend that you hit your local Chanel counters to find your fave Chanel items as well! Happy beauty buying x
