Brisbane has been named the most prolific breakfast restaurant city in the world. What a title! So when a local Brisbane Patisserie turns into a local breakfast joint, you know the title is true. French Twist at the Barracks is the only French Twist franchise in Brisbane to serve full cooked breakfasts. And they are delicious! Basically, we are suckers for any smoothie, juice, cocktail, in a jar so when this beautiful banana smoothie decorated with a perfect cinnamon swirl arrived at the table, I was more than pleased with this patisserie turned restaurant. In terms of the actual food, all we can say is delicious. Who could say no to delicious fresh bircher muesli topped with generous amounts of fresh fruit or a crispy, baked fresh croissant topped with leg ham, avocado, and a perfectly poached egg?! No one could. So stop saying no to your stomach and run out tomorrow morning to French Twist for one of Brisbane's best!
